Hefei Jianghuai Horticulture Research Institute mainly engages in research, production, development of seeds, such as sweet melon, pepper and pumpkin, etc. All staffs specialize in scientific research and production of horticultural crops for many years. Cultivated varieties of sweet melon, pumpkin, and pepper have passed the conformation of National or Anhui Province Crops Certification Committee. Our institute has won many technology prizes at the provincial or national rank.
Our mission is to increase farmers’income depending on the tenet of“Culture and Promotion of New Varieties”. We have more than 4300 varieties including 500 rare varieties, such as watermelon, sweet melon, pumpkin, pepper, tomato and eggplant, which help to promote new varieties continually. Among these varieties, a lot of them are appraised as the most excellent varieties, and some are from overseas. Our Scientific research owns a suit of quality control and certification system.
