More »Hangzhou Jiuyuan Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. is one of the national high-tech enterprises which first realized gene-technology industrialization, and integrated R&D, production and marketing into one body in China. The R&D capacity and production scale are ranked at the top of biological pharmaceutical industry in China. In the 15 years since its foundation, Jiuyuan is dedicated to the R&D of gene-engineered protein drugs, synthetic polypeptides and chemical drugs, especially in the areas of oncology, hepatitis B, hematology and orthopedics. We have successfully developed Jilifen (rhG-CSF, i.e. Filgrastim), Jijufen (rhIL-11), Jiouting (Palonosetron hydrochloride), and Guyoudao (BMP-2-containing medical device), and the above drugs have got SFDA approval to market. Jiuyuan has been awarded as National High-Tech Enterprise, National Torch Plan Key High-tech Enterprises, High-Tech Research and Development Center of Zhejiang Province, Patent Demonstration Enterprise of Zhejiang Province, and Top 10 High-Tech Enterprises of Hangzhou.
We have established high-end talent platforms like Academician Workstation and Postdoctoral Workstation. Our R&D center is directed by Academician Yang Shengli and 40 excellent talents from Peking University, Zhejaing University and China Pharmaceutical University etc.. Extensive technical communication and collaboration have been conducted with some famous Chinese research institutes, including Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry and Institute of Biotechnology, Academy of Military Medical Science. We have now established E.coli expression system, yeast expression system, protein PEGylation, albumin infusion and mammalian cell expression system.
