Arizona Chemical is the world largest producer of naturally derived specialty resins and pine-based chemicals for the adhesives, inks and coatings, lubricants, fuel additives, mining and oleochemicals markets. Its products ?including fatty acids, rosins and terpenes ?are used to help make fragrances, personal care items, plastics, household cleaners, soaps, inks, paints, rubber products, hydraulic fluids, roofing material and much more. The company was founded in 1930 to mine saltcake in Camp Verde, Arizona. By 1936, after the mine was closed, Arizona Chemical began processing tall oil and turpentine and located its manufacturing plants in Panama City, Florida and Springhill, Louisiana. Today, Arizona Chemical has state-of-the-art manufacturing locations and sales offices across the world, from Savannah, Ga., to Oulu, Finland, to Shanghai, China. The business employs more than 1,400 people worldwide and is globally headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
