The YJ-0983E Automatic Drug Cone Penetration Tester (with one cone) is an automatic intelligent instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant provisions specified in "0983 Cone Penetration Test Method" of the 2020 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China and the standard GB1790-2003 "Medicinal Vaseline". It is mainly applicable to semi-solid substances such as ointments, eye ointments and their commonly used matrix materials (such as vaseline, lanolin, beeswax), to control their properties such as softness, hardness and viscosity, and to avoid affecting the coating and spreadability of the drug. Drug cone penetration refers to the process of using free fall to release a cone of a certain mass downward from the cone penetration tester at 25°C, and measuring the depth of penetration into the test sample within 5 seconds after the cone is released.

I. Main Functional Features

1. The instrument is mainly composed of chassis bracket, touch display, screw lifting system, constant temperature control system, cone rod assembly, displacement measurement system and other parts.

2. Adopts computer control technology to automatically complete the cone penetration test, and automatically display the test results after the experiment is completed.

3. Adopts a touch screen human-machine interface, with intuitive display, rich content and convenient operation.

4. Automatic lifting structure, smooth lifting and accurate positioning. Using knob encoder switch and lifting button switch, the screw slider is driven by a stepping motor to realize high-precision adjustment of rapid lifting inching.

5. The instrument has an integrated constant temperature water bath inside, with refrigeration and heating constant temperature control functions. It adopts semiconductor refrigeration technology and PID control algorithm, with a temperature control accuracy of up to ±0.1°C, meeting the temperature requirements of national standards;

6. The designed cold light source cone lighting technology makes cone alignment convenient and accurate. The cone rod assembly mechanism has high precision, is easy to disassemble, and strictly meets the requirements of national standards.

7. The system can store 200 sets of data, which can be viewed directly on the touch screen or exported via U盘 data transfer. At the same time, the system has a built-in 485 interface (MODBUS protocol), which can realize real-time network transmission of data.

8. The self-developed computer control software can realize communication with the computer and complete the cone penetration test.

9. The main unit of this instrument is standardly equipped with one cone, and Cone No. I, Cone No. II, Cone No. III and sample cups are optional, and a micro printer is also optional.
