Silicone Leveling Agent and Silicone Defoamer

Special properties：
Silicone defoamer to prevent foam and bubble formation arising during paint production and application in non-polar to high polarity solvent-based systems. Silibase-2820 Silicone Leveling Agent and Silicone Defoamer improves the surface properties of coatings, with particular emphasis upon levelling, increases surface slip and thus improves scratch and mar resistance. Formation of Bénard cells is prevented and orientation of flatting agents is improved.

Silibase-2820 Silicone Leveling Agent and Silicone Defoamer does not cause dewetting or defects in intercoat adhesion when recoated.

Dosage (additive as supplied):
wood and f urniture coatings: 0.05 - 0.3 %
industrial coatings: 0.05 - 0.3 %
decorative coatings: 0.05 - 0.3 %
Predilution in a suitable solvent simplifies dosage and incorporation.

Package and storage stability：
Available in 25 liter pail and 200 liter drums.
24 months in closed containers.
