YJ-5009AVolatile Salt Base Nitrogen Analyzer (semimicro Kjeldahl method) is an instrument developed in accordance with the requirements of the first method, semimicro Kjeldahl method, in the standard GB5009.228—2016 "National Food Safety Standard Determination of Volatile Salt Base Nitrogen in Foods". Volatile salt base nitrogen is an alkaline nitrogen-containing substance such as ammonia and amines produced by the decomposition of proteins in animal foods during the spoilage process due to the action of enzymes and bacteria. Volatile salt base nitrogen is volatile, it is distilled out in an alkaline solution, absorbed with boric acid solution, and titrated with a standard acid solution to calculate the content of volatile salt base nitrogen.
