- Overview

The MSCHL type high-voltage reactive power local compensation device connects a fixed-capacity capacitor bank in parallel with the reactive load to provide a fixed capacity of capacitive reactive power locally, compensating for inductive reactive power, improving the power factor of the reactive load, stabilizing the system voltage, thereby reducing line losses, saving electricity costs, increasing transformer transmission capacity, and enhancing overall power transmission efficiency. The device consists of parallel capacitors, series reactors, voltage transformers, control and protection devices, among others.

3). The device undergoes resonance verification, selecting an appropriate reactance ratio to avoid the resonance amplification zone, suppressing harmonics and inrush currents.

4). Expulsion-type fuses are used for single capacitor protection, with independent insulation intervals ensuring no phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground arcing after operation and tripping.
