Ginger Oil

Ginger Oil, ginger belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, Zingiber genus, and is a perennial herb. Its main producing areas are China, India, Sri Lanka, the United States, and Europe. Ginger oil can be obtained by crushing the underground fleshy stem and using steam distillation, with an oil yield of about 0.3%. The product is a pale yellow liquid with the pungent aroma of ginger but a mild spicy taste. It can also be extracted using the cold-pressing method, with an oil yield of about 0.33%.
