The PXIeC-7309 is a 9-slot PXI Express chassis, compatible with PXI Express and CPCI Express specifications. It provides one system timing slot and six hybrid peripheral slots for various test and measurement applications requiring higher bandwidth. The hybrid peripheral slots can accommodate CompactPCI, PXI, CompactPCI Express, and PXI Express modules, offering greater flexibility.

The PXIeC-7309 features a built-in Four-Link PXI Express backplane, supporting system bandwidth up to 8GB/s. Hybrid device slots 2/3 and the system timing slot have a bandwidth of 2GB/s, while hybrid device slots 4/6/7/8 support a bandwidth of 500MB/s. Equipped with an intelligent system monitoring controller, it monitors all chassis statuses (including fan speed, system voltage, and internal temperature). It includes an industrial-grade AC power supply capable of outputting 400W of power below 55°C and enhances cooling capacity with two 120mm cooling fans at the rear of the chassis. The rear panel features two BNC connectors for 10MHz clock input/output.
