The rail straightedge is primarily used for horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and tip adjustment of rail ends during thermite welding of rails. It can also be used to detect the surface wear flatness of rails. The ruler body is made of carbon steel or stainless steel, with laser-engraved markings that provide clear and highly accurate readings.

Usage method: Take out the rail straightness measuring ruler, place it on the specified rail top surface or the inner working edge where measurement is required, and use a feeler gauge to detect the maximum sag over a unit length.
