Usage

Polyethylene oxide resin is a high molecular weight homopolymer formed by the multi-phase catalytic ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide. It is generally categorized into those with a relative molecular mass above 2×10⁴ and those with tens of thousands or more; the former is referred to as polyethylene glycol, while the latter is called polyethylene oxide. Polyethylene oxide possesses properties such as flocculation, thickening, sustained release, lubrication, dispersion, retention aid, and water retention. It is suitable for various industries including pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, papermaking, ceramics, detergents, cosmetics, heat treatment, water treatment, firefighting, and petroleum extraction. The product is non-toxic and non-irritating, does not leave residues, deposits, or generate volatiles during the production process. As a papermaking additive, it improves the retention rate of fillers and fine fibers, is particularly suitable as a dispersant for long fibers, and can shorten the beating time.
