Adipic acid dihydrazide (ADH)

Adipic acid dihydrazide, a white crystalline substance, is readily soluble in water. It is primarily used as a curing agent for epoxy powder coatings and as a coating additive, metal deactivator, and other polymer additives, as well as a water treatment agent. As a bifunctional crosslinking agent, it is specifically designed for aldehydes, forming relatively stable hydrazone linkages. It can be crosslinked with sodium hyaluronate to serve as a protein drug carrier. It acts as a crosslinking agent in water emulsions and water-soluble polymers. It is also used as an indoor formaldehyde adsorbent and as an intermediate raw material.
