Aminotris(methylenephosphonic acid), a chemical substance with the molecular formula C₃H₁₂NO₉P₃. Solid aminotris(methylenephosphonic acid) is readily soluble in water, with a melting point above 195°C and a decomposition temperature of 200–212°C. The liquid product is also easily soluble in water. It is one of the commonly used organic phosphonic acids and is most effective in inhibiting calcium carbonate scale. At high concentrations, it exhibits excellent corrosion inhibition properties.
