Aloe Vera Oil

Evergreen, succulent herbaceous plant. Stems are short.

Leaves nearly clustered or slightly distichous (in young plants), thick and fleshy, linear-lanceolate, powdery green, 15-35 cm long, 4-5 cm wide at the base, with several small teeth at the apex, margins sparsely toothed with small spines.

Scape 60-90 cm tall, unbranched or sometimes slightly branched; raceme with several dozen flowers; bracts nearly lanceolate, apex acute; flowers nodding, sparsely arranged, pale yellow with red spots; perianth about 2.5 cm long, lobes slightly recurved at the apex; stamens nearly equal to or slightly longer than the perianth, style distinctly exserted beyond the perianth.
