Lane markings

Single and Double Lane Markings - Classification of Road Traffic Markings:

1. Lines - Solid or dashed lines marked on the road surface, curb, or vertical surfaces.

Single white dashed line: When marked on road sections, it is used to separate traffic flows in the same direction or as a safe driving distance recognition line; when marked at intersections, it guides vehicle movement.

Double white dashed line: When marked at intersections, it serves as a yield line for减速; when placed on road sections, it functions as a variable lane line where the direction of travel changes over time.

Single white solid line: When marked on road sections, it separates motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles traveling in the same direction or indicates the edge of the lane; when used at intersections, it can serve as a guide lane line or stop line.

Double white solid line: When marked at intersections, it acts as a stop yield line.

Single yellow dashed line: When marked on road sections, it separates opposing traffic flows. When marked on the roadside or curb, it prohibits long-term parking on the roadside.

Double yellow solid and dashed line: When marked on road sections, it separates opposing traffic flows. On the side with the yellow solid line, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking, crossing, or turning around; on the side with the yellow dashed line, overtaking, crossing, or turning around is permitted provided safety is ensured.

Single yellow solid line: When marked on road sections, it separates opposing traffic flows; when marked on the roadside or curb, it prohibits long-term or temporary parking on the roadside.

Double yellow solid line: When marked on road sections, it separates opposing traffic flows.
