SVG is a Static Var Generator, and DLT-SVG represents the technological application in the field of reactive power compensation. SVG is connected in parallel to the power grid, functioning as a variable reactive current source. By adjusting the amplitude and phase of the output voltage on the AC side of the inverter, or directly controlling the amplitude and phase of the AC side current, it rapidly absorbs or emits the required reactive power to achieve fast dynamic regulation of reactive power. When direct current control is employed, DLT-SVG directly controls the AC side current, not only compensating for the inrush current of impact loads but also compensating for harmonic currents.
