　　Main Uses

　　Organic Synthesis Intermediate:

　　Used as an intermediate for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals (such as barbiturate sedatives, antibiotics), pesticides (such as insecticides, herbicides), dyes, etc.

　　As a raw material for condensation reactions, participating in the preparation of pyrazolone compounds (used in dye and pharmaceutical synthesis).

　　Solvent and Extractant: Due to its good solubility for organic substances, it can be used as a high-boiling solvent in the coatings and ink industries; it can also be used as an extractant to separate certain organic mixtures (such as the extraction of rare metal ions).
