3,5-dimethylpyrazole
Other Products
Main Uses
Coordination Chemistry: As a nitrogen-containing ligand, it can coordinate with metal ions (such as copper, zinc, palladium, etc.) through the nitrogen atom on the pyrazole ring to form stable complexes. These complexes can be used as catalysts (e.g., for catalyzing cross-coupling reactions) or functional materials (e.g., magnetic materials, luminescent materials).
Organic Synthesis Intermediate: The nitrogen atom at the 1-position of the pyrazole ring can undergo alkylation, acylation, and other reactions, and the methyl groups at the 3,5-positions can be further modified (e.g., oxidized to carboxyl groups) for the synthesis of more complex heterocyclic compounds, pharmaceuticals, or pesticide molecules.
Others: It can be used as a gas adsorbent (e.g., for adsorbing gases like CO₂), or for the preparation of ionic liquids, corrosion inhibitors, etc.
