Usage

Lubricant Additive: It is an important intermediate for detergents and inhibitors in the production of lubricant additives, primarily used to produce calcium sulfurized alkyl phenate and zinc dialkyldithiophosphate. It can improve the oxidation resistance, detergency, dispersancy, and anti-wear properties of lubricants.

Surfactant: Used in the production of surfactants such as dodecylphenol ethoxylates, it is widely applied in detergents, cleaning agents, emulsifiers, and other products, offering excellent emulsification, dispersion, and solubilization properties.

Resin Modification: It can be used to modify phenolic resins and phenolic varnish resins, providing the resins with good solubility, higher viscosity, and larger molecular weight. This meets the needs of high-speed printing and the extensive use of non-aromatic mineral oils. It can also serve as a binder component in varnishes.

Epoxy Resin Curing Agent: As a component of epoxy resin curing agents, it is widely used in fields such as epoxy floor paints and tile grouts.

Other Fields: It can also be used as an oilfield additive with solubilization, anti-caking, and anticorrosion functions; as well as a fungicide, wood preservative, and dye solvent.
