Additional Information
Main Uses: Primarily used as a gasoline octane blending component. Its Motor Octane Number (MON) and Research Octane Number (RON) are both higher than Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE). Compared to Ethylene Glycol Mono-Tert-Butyl Ether, it causes less corrosion to rubber and other organic seals when used as a gasoline blending component, offering superior overall performance. It can also be used as an organic solvent in coatings, inks, and other fields, capable of dissolving resins such as amino, nitrocellulose, alkyd, and acrylic resins.
