　　Flavor and fragrance field: Possesses a rich aroma of wintergreen oil and ylang-ylang oil. It can be used alone as a fragrance and is a common ingredient in compounding fragrance essences such as ylang-ylang, tuberose, jonquil, and lavender. It is also widely used in the formulation of food flavorings like strawberry, pineapple, and cherry.

　　Solvent field: Can be used as a solvent for cellulose ethers, cellulose esters, synthetic resins, and rubber, as well as a reaction medium and processing agent in certain reactions.

　　Plasticizer field: Polyol benzoate plasticizers obtained via transesterification with polyols can be used to produce PVC and vinyl acetate plasticizers, and are widely applied in industries such as foam, plastics, and rubber.

　　Pharmaceutical field: An intermediate for synthesizing various drugs, playing an important role in pharmaceutical research and development.

　　Other aspects: Can also be used as a dyeing assistant for polyester fibers, aiding in the dispersion of dyes during fiber dyeing to achieve better dyeing results; it can also serve as a food preservative, an additive for animal feed, and in pesticides to attract insects.
