Environmentally friendly adhesives: As a low-VOCs solvent, it is used to prepare high-temperature resistant adhesives and paint strippers, featuring long open time and high bonding strength.

2. Fragrance and Food Industry

Food flavors: Possessing a fruity aroma, it is approved by the FDA for formulating banana, coconut, cream, and other flavors; trace amounts can enhance dairy flavors.

Daily chemical products: When compounded with spicy fragrances, it is used in shampoos and soaps to harmonize the scent and prolong fragrance retention.

3. Pharmaceutical and Pesticide Intermediates

Antibacterial drugs: Used in the synthesis of rifamycin derivatives (such as rifampicin) and thiazolidin-4-one class Toxoplasma inhibitors.

Pesticide synthesis: As a key intermediate for insecticides and herbicides, for example, used in the production of organophosphorus pesticides to construct active functional groups.

4. Electronic Chemicals

Photoresist diluent: Compounded with PMA, it can improve the coating uniformity of photoresists, meeting the high-precision requirements of semiconductor manufacturing.

Electronic cleaning agents: High resistivity (>1000Ω·M) and low surface tension enable it to effectively remove grease and particulate contaminants from the surface of electronic components.
