　　Extraction and Separation: Extracts aromatic hydrocarbons from petroleum fractions, or used for the extraction of rare metals (such as ruthenium, palladium).

　　Histology Clearing Agent: Substitutes benzene in the preparation of pathological sections for dewaxing and clearing;

　　Cryogenic Coolant: Mixed with dry ice to create a -78℃ low-temperature bath to stabilize sensitive chemical reactions.
