　　Main Application Areas

　　Water Treatment Field

　　As an oxygen scavenger for boiler water: Utilizing its reducing properties, it reacts with dissolved oxygen in water to produce harmless nitrogen and water, preventing corrosion of the boiler inner wall due to oxidation. It is more effective than traditional sodium sulfite and does not increase the salt content in the water.

　　Used for corrosion and scale inhibition in circulating cooling water systems; it can also decompose chloramines in the water (reducing the corrosion of equipment by residual chlorine).

　　Pharmaceutical and Pesticide Fields

　　As an intermediate in organic synthesis, used in the preparation of antibacterial, antiviral, and antitumor drugs (e.g., as a precursor for the synthesis of certain heterocyclic drugs).

　　Used in the synthesis of pesticides (such as herbicides and insecticides); its derivatives are characterized by high efficiency and low toxicity.

　　Polymer Materials Field

　　As a curing agent: Reacts with epoxy resins for the preparation of high-temperature resistant, chemically resistant coatings, adhesives, and composite materials. It offers a moderate curing speed and excellent product performance.

　　Used in the synthesis of polymer materials such as polyimides and polyureas to improve the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the materials.

　　Other Uses

　　As a component of rocket propellants: Used in conjunction with oxidizers to provide energy (due to its high nitrogen content, it releases a large amount of heat upon combustion).

　　Used for the chelation of metal ions: Forms stable complexes with metal ions such as copper and iron, used for metal separation or analytical detection.

　　As a blowing agent: In certain polymer syntheses, it decomposes to produce gas, forming a foam structure.
