　　Main Uses

　　Surfactants and Detergents:

　　As an emulsifier, foaming agent, and thickener, used in the preparation of liquid detergents and cosmetics (such as shampoos, body washes) to improve the decontamination ability and stability of the products.

　　Reacts with fatty acids to produce fatty acid isopropanisamide, used as a softener and antistatic agent in the textile industry.

　　Metal Processing and Corrosion Protection:

　　Added as a corrosion inhibitor to metal cutting fluids and coolants, forming a protective film by adsorbing on the metal surface to prevent corrosion of metals such as steel and copper.

　　Used for metal surface treatment (such as rust removal, phosphating) to adjust the pH value of the solution and enhance the treatment effect.

　　Gas Purification:

　　Substitutes for ethanolamine (MEA) in removing CO₂ and H₂S from natural gas and synthesis gas; it has high absorption capacity and low regeneration energy consumption, making it suitable for low-temperature desulfurization processes.

　　Pharmaceutical and Pesticide Intermediates:

　　Synthesizes drugs such as antihistamines and local anesthetics, for example, preparing carbamate derivatives through acylation reactions.

　　Acts as an intermediate to synthesize herbicides and insecticides, improving the water solubility and biological activity of pesticides.

　　Other Applications:

　　Used in coatings and inks to adjust pH value and enhance pigment dispersibility;

　　As a concrete admixture to improve the frost resistance and strength of concrete;

　　Prepares textile auxiliaries to enhance the dyeing uniformity of fibers.
