Main Application Areas

Pharmaceutical Field (Core Application):

Pharmaceutical Excipients: Used as binders, lubricants, disintegrants, or coating materials for tablets and capsules, they can improve the flowability of drug powders, reduce tablet sticking, and enhance formulation stability.

Laxatives (Oral): As osmotic mild laxatives, they work by creating high osmotic pressure in the intestines, absorbing water, softening stool, and stimulating intestinal peristalsis. They are used to treat constipation (especially suitable for the elderly and postoperative patients). Their action is gentle and does not affect normal intestinal physiological functions.

Injection Excipients: Used to dissolve poorly soluble drugs (such as certain antibiotics and hormones) to increase drug solubility; or as lyoprotectants to prevent denaturation of biological preparations (such as proteins and vaccines) during the freeze-drying process.

Daily Chemicals and Cosmetics:

Used as humectants, thickeners, or emollients in skincare products, shampoos, and toothpaste to improve product texture, enhance skin moisture, and are gentle and non-irritating.

Industrial Field:

Used as plasticizers or leveling agents in coatings and adhesives to improve product extensibility and uniformity.

Used as softeners and antistatic agents in the textile industry to improve the hand feel of fabrics.

Used as defoamers and lubricants in the food industry (must meet food-grade standards).
