　　Metal soap raw materials: Metal soaps formed by isooctanoic acid and metals (Zn, Co, Ca, Pb, etc.) represent the most important application field:

　　Isooctanoic acid cobalt, isooctanoic acid manganese: Used as driers for coatings (such as alkyd resin paints) to promote oxidative cross-linking of the paint film and accelerate drying.

　　Isooctanoic acid zinc: Used in plastic stabilizers (such as PVC heat stabilizers), rubber vulcanization accelerators, or as preservatives in cosmetics.

　　Isooctanoic acid calcium: Used as a lubricant additive (anti-wear, anti-rust) or as a feed additive (supplementing calcium).

　　Ester intermediates: Isooctanoic acid esters (such as esters with ethylene glycol, pentaerythritol) can be used as plasticizers (replacing phthalates), synthetic lubricants (high temperature resistance, low volatility), and emollients in cosmetics.
