Dodecylphenol

　　Uses

　　Lubricant Additive: It is an important intermediate for detergents and inhibitors in the production of lubricant additives. It is primarily used to produce calcium sulfurized alkylphenate and zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, which can improve the oxidation resistance, detergency, dispersancy, and anti-wear properties of lubricating oils.

　　Surfactant: Used in the production of surfactants such as dodecylphenol ethoxylates. It is widely applied detergents, cleaning agents, emulsifiers, and other products, offering excellent emulsification, dispersion, and solubilization properties.

　　Resin Modification: It can be used to modify phenolic resins and phenolic varnish resins, providing the resins with good solubility, higher viscosity, and larger molecular weight. This meets the needs of high-speed printing and the extensive use of non-aromatic mineral oils. It can also serve as a binder component in varnishes.

　　Epoxy Resin Curing Agent: As a component of epoxy resin curing agents, it is widely used in fields such as epoxy floor paints and tile grout.

　　Other Fields: It can also be used as an oil field additive with solubilization, anti-caking, and anti-corrosion functions. Additionally, it serves as a fungicide, wood preservative, and dye solvent.
