　　Main Uses

　　Heat Transfer Medium: A mixture composed of diphenyl ether and methylbiphenyl is called Dowtherm LF. It has a low freezing point and can still be used at -30°C, making it a low-temperature, low-viscosity heat carrier.

　　Organic Synthesis Raw Material: Used for synthesizing engineering plastics, pharmaceuticals, and other organic compounds. For example, it serves as an intermediate in the pharmaceutical industry for the synthesis of certain drugs.

　　Fragrance Field: It can be used as a substitute for low-grade geranium oil and is suitable for formulating floral-type cosmetics, soap fragrances, and deodorants. Due to its relatively rough aroma, large quantities of diphenyl ether are primarily used in low-grade soap fragrances, synthetic detergent fragrances, and other daily chemical product fragrance formulations.
