Main Uses

Pharmaceutical Intermediates:

A key raw material for the synthesis of cephalosporin antibiotics, such as Cefazolin, Ceftezole, etc. The introduction of the tetrazole ring can enhance the antibacterial activity and stability of the drugs.

In the synthesis of other nitrogen-containing heterocyclic drugs (such as antifungal and antiviral drugs), it serves as a structural unit to modulate pharmacological effects.

Materials Chemistry:
