RTO high-concentration waste gas treatment equipment

The RTO waste gas treatment system is an efficient organic waste gas treatment equipment, which features high thermal efficiency (≥95%), low operating cost, and the ability to treat large-volume low-concentration waste gas. When the concentration is slightly high, secondary waste heat recovery can also be carried out, greatly reducing production and operating costs. Thermal oxidation methods can be divided into three types: thermal combustion, regenerative indirect heat exchange and regenerative thermal oxidation. Their main difference lies in the heat recovery method. All three methods can be combined with catalytic methods to reduce the reaction temperature.

Technical Principle

Its principle is to oxidize the combustible waste gas into corresponding oxides and water at high temperature, thereby purifying the waste gas and recovering the heat released during the decomposition of the waste gas. The waste gas decomposition efficiency reaches more than 99%, and the heat recovery efficiency reaches more than 95%. The main structure of RTO consists of a combustion chamber, ceramic packing beds, switching valves and other components. Different heat recovery methods and switching valve modes can be selected according to the actual needs of customers.

The organic waste gas is heated to above 760 degrees Celsius, so that VOCs in the waste gas are oxidized and decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. The ceramic regenerator should be divided into two or more zones or chambers, and each regenerative chamber sequentially undergoes procedures such as heat storage, heat release, and cleaning, repeating continuously to achieve continuous operation.

Scope of Application

RTO environmental protection equipment is suitable for the purification treatment of organic waste gas and industrial waste gas containing organic components such as benzene series, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, ethers and esters in petroleum, chemical, plastic, rubber, pharmaceutical, printing, pesticide, shoe manufacturing, power cable production industries and so on. The concentration of organic waste gas is between 100PPM and 20000PPM.
