Transmission Rate and Bandwidth
- The bandwidth is increased to 250MHz (compared to 100MHz for Cat 5e), supporting full-duplex transmission of 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and it can support 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet) over short distances (e.g., within 55 meters), with stronger future compatibility.
- The transmission rate is stable, achieving a gigabit rate stably within 100 meters. Compared with Cat 5e, it has better anti-interference ability and signal integrity under high load.
Anti-Interference Ability
- Through strict control of crosstalk (NEXT, FEXT) and return loss (RL) indicators, mutual interference during signal transmission is reduced. The ACR (Attenuation to Crosstalk Ratio) value is higher, making it suitable for complex electromagnetic environments (such as computer rooms and industrial areas).
- (UTP) improves anti-interference performance through optimized twisting process; (STP/FTP) adds a metal FTP layer (aluminum foil or braided mesh) to further isolate external electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
PoE Compatibility
- Supports higher-power PoE power supply, compatible with the PoE++ (802.3bt) protocol, with a maximum power supply of 60W~90W, which can drive high-power devices (such as high-definition PTZ cameras, WiFi 6 wireless APs, small servers, etc.).
