Split-type Colloid Mill
Product Introduction:
The split-type colloid mill uses a belt drive from the motor to drive the rotating teeth (or rotor) to rotate at high speed relative to the matching fixed teeth (or stator). The processed material generates a downward spiral impact force through its own weight or external pressure (which can be generated by a pump). When passing through the gap (adjustable) between the fixed and rotating teeth of the colloid mill, the material is subjected to strong physical effects such as shear force, friction, and high-frequency vibration, effectively emulsifying, dispersing, and pulverizing the material, achieving the effect of ultrafine pulverization and emulsification of the material.
The grinding chamber is equipped with three grinding zones: the first is the coarse grinding zone, the second is the fine grinding zone, and the third is the ultra-micro grinding zone. By adjusting the gap between the fixed and rotating teeth, the required ultra-micro grinding effect can be effectively achieved (it can also be processed cyclically).
Working Principle:
1. The basic working principle of the colloid mill is shear, grinding, and high-speed stirring. The grinding relies on the phase and friction force of the tooth-shaped inclined surface of the grinding disc, and at the same time, under the action of complex forces such as high-frequency vibration and high-speed vortex, the material is ground, emulsified, pulverized, and homogenized;
2. The motor is designed according to the needs of the colloid mill, and a water baffle is installed on the flange cover of the motor to prevent leakage;
3. The parts that come into contact with the material are made of stainless steel. The dynamic and static grinding discs are the key parts of this machine. Depending on the nature of the material to be processed, the tooth shape of the grinding disc will be different, but the material is made of stainless steel tools;
4. It has a compact and simple structure, small volume, light weight, and convenient operation. It is composed of three parts: the grinding head, the base transmission part, and the motor.
