Forged steel welded stop valve
I. Introduction:
The J61Y forged steel welded globe valve has three bonnet design forms. The first is a bolted bonnet. For valves of this design, the valve body and bonnet are connected by bolts and nuts, with a spiral wound gasket for sealing. A metal ring connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements. The second design is a welded bonnet. For valves of this design, the valve body and bonnet are connected by threads, with full weld sealing. A full penetration weld connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements. The third is a self-sealing bonnet. The J61Y forged steel welded globe valve is suitable for pipelines in various working conditions such as petroleum, chemical industry, and thermal power plants with ANSI Class1500～2500Lb and operating temperature ranging from -29℃ to 570℃, to cut off or connect the medium. The applicable media are: water, steam, etc. The operation modes include manual, gear transmission, electric drive, etc.
II. Structural Features:
1. The design and manufacturing of forged steel welded globe valves comply with API 602 and ASME B16.34. Inspection and testing are conducted in accordance with API 598, and marking follows MSS-SP-25.
2. Full bore or reduced bore
3. Outside screw and yoke type
4. Self-centering gland and packing follower type
5. Bolted, spiral wound gasket sealed bonnet; nut-connected, full weld sealed bonnet; and thread-connected, internal pressure self-tightening bonnet
6. Integral backseat ring
7. Socket weld ends comply with ASME B16.11
