Pound-class stop valve
I. Structural Features:
A stop valve is a commonly used shut-off valve, mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. The main advantages of stop valves are:
1. Compared with gate valves, stop valves have a simpler structure and are easier to manufacture and maintain.
2. The sealing surface is not easily worn or scratched, with good sealing performance and a long service life.
3. The disc travel during opening and closing is small, the opening and closing time is short, and the valve height is small.
II. Main Parameters:
Nominal Pressure: 150LB~600LB;
Nominal Size: 1"~16";
Applicable Temperature: 425℃ (WCB); -29~325℃ (CF8)
Applicable Medium: Water, gas, oil products, etc. (WCB); Nitric acid (CF8)
III. Relevant Standards
1. Design and Manufacture: BS 1873;
2. Face-to-Face Dimensions: ASME B16.10;
3. Flanges: ASME B16.5;
4. Pressure-Temperature Ratings: ASME B16.34;
5. Inspection and Testing: API 598.
