Inverted bucket steam trap with bell-shaped float
I. Introduction:
The CS45H bell-shaped inverted bucket steam trap operates on the principle of density difference between condensate and steam. Its internal structure features a lever system connected to an inverted bucket, which overcomes steam pressure to switch the trap. The inverted bucket, with its opening facing downward, serves as the liquid level sensing element. When the device starts up, air and low-temperature condensate are present in the pipeline, and the trap is fully open, allowing rapid discharge of air and low-temperature condensate to quickly raise the system temperature. When steam enters the inverted bucket, it generates upward buoyancy, and the lever connected to the bucket drives the valve core to close the valve. When the inverted bucket loses buoyancy, it sinks downward, and the lever connected to the bucket drives the valve core to open the valve. When steam enters the inverted bucket again, the valve closes, and this cycle repeats, discharging water intermittently.
II. Features and Performance:
1. Highly adaptable to the amount of condensate generated, enabling both intermittent and continuous discharge.
2. The unique SCCV closing system features a special design that compensates for errors caused by lever mechanism, preventing rigid collision during closing, ensuring reliable shutoff and long service life.
3. All internal parts are made of stainless steel and installed on the valve cover, making maintenance extremely convenient.
4. High backpressure rate (90%).
5. Reliable steam-water separation (steam and water enter from the lower part of the valve through a U-shaped channel), the valve is always in a water-sealed state, effectively preventing steam leakage.
6. The open-type float resists water hammer. The inverted bucket is equipped with an overflow vent, which can effectively prevent steam locking and air blocking (non-condensable high-temperature air can also be discharged).
III. Product Applications:
Bell-shaped inverted bucket steam traps are used in steam mains, steam separators, heat exchangers, vulcanizers, hot-air dryers, cylinder dryers, distillers, concentration units, hospital sterilizers, etc. The ultra-compact and lightweight ES5 type is ideal for air conditioners, washing machines, dyeing machines, etc. The all-stainless steel ESU5 type is specially manufactured for food industry and hospital steam-using equipment.
