GL11H Stainless Steel Y-Type Filter
I. Introduction:
The GL11H stainless steel Y-type filter is made of gray cast iron, suitable for water, steam, and oil. Its nominal size ranges from DN15 to DN500, and it is used in pipelines with a working pressure ≤ 1.6 MPa. It can filter dirt, rust, and other debris in the medium, mainly protecting valves and equipment from normal operation. The Y-type filter is an indispensable device in the pipeline system for conveying medium, usually installed at the inlet end of pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, fixed water level valves, or other equipment. II. Working Principle:
The GL11H stainless steel Y-type filter is mainly installed at the front of each supporting valve in the water inlet pipeline. When the medium in the pipeline first enters the filter, the medium passes through the filter screen and enters the connected valve, while impurities remain in the filter barrel, preventing various valves from malfunctioning due to mechanical debris getting stuck in the sealing ring. The filter is an indispensable filtering device in the pipeline system for conveying medium. The Y-type filter is usually installed at the inlet end of pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, fixed water level valves, or other equipment, used to remove impurities in the medium to protect the normal operation of valves and equipment. The Y-type filter has the characteristics of advanced structure, small resistance, and convenient sewage discharge. The applicable medium of the Y-type filter can be water, oil, and gas; generally, the mesh for water is 18 to 30 meshes, the mesh for gas is 10 to 100 meshes, and the mesh for oil is 100 to 480 meshes. The basket strainer is mainly composed of a connecting pipe, a main pipe, a filter basket, a flange, a flange cover, and fasteners. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, solid impurity particles are blocked in the filter basket, and the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet.
