HCN Low-noise Cage Control Valve
I. Introduction:
The HCN low-noise cage control valve is one of the CV3000 series control valves, mainly designed to reduce the noise of compressible fluids. To adapt to gas throttling, diffusion and expansion, the sleeve is equipped with many symmetric small holes to reduce pressure. The fluid channel is S-shaped, and a diversion wing is also provided to improve the smooth flow of fluid around the sleeve. Therefore, the control valve has small pressure loss, large flow rate and low noise. The valve core adopts a pressure-balanced structure, and the control valve is equipped with a multi-spring diaphragm actuator, which has a compact structure and large output force. It can reduce the noise of compressible fluids. To adapt to gas throttling, diffusion and expansion, the sleeve is equipped with many symmetric small holes to reduce pressure drop. The valve core adopts a pressure-balanced structure. The fluid channel is S-shaped, and a diversion wing is also provided to improve the balanced flow of fluid around the sleeve, making it have small pressure drop loss, large flow rate and low noise.
II. Performance:
Leakage: Metal seat: Less than 0.01% of the valve's rated capacity, conforming to ANSI B16.104-1976 Class IV
Hysteresis: With positioner: Less than 1% of full stroke;
Without positioner: Less than 3% of full stroke (Type LHA1: Less than 5% of full stroke)
Basic error: With positioner: Less than ±1% of full stroke;
Without positioner: Less than ±5% of full stroke
Note: Standard V-shaped polytetrafluoroethylene packing is used
Rangeability: 50:1 (0.25≤Cv≤14) or 30:1 (CV≤0.16)
