high-low basket filter
I. Product Introduction:
Basket strainers can be used to filter large particles from gases or other media. When installed in pipelines, they can remove large solid impurities from fluids, making the fluids purer and enabling machinery (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments to operate normally, thus stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production. The main filter materials include stainless steel perforated plates, stainless steel woven nets, and stainless steel sintered nets, etc. After a period of use, open the upper cover to take out the basket-shaped filter screen; after washing, it can be restored to its original state. It has the advantages of large dirt holding capacity, high pressure resistance, and convenient installation and cleaning, etc., and has been widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, and food industry.
II. Scope of Application:
The applicable materials for SBL34 high-low basket strainers are as follows:
1. Weakly corrosive materials in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, oil products, ammonia, hydrocarbons, etc.
2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, aldehyde acid, etc.
3. Low-temperature materials in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.
4. Materials with hygiene requirements in food and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, syrups, etc.
Maintenance Introduction for SBL34 High-Low Basket Strainers:
1. The core part of the strainer is the filter element, which consists of a strainer frame and a stainless steel wire mesh. The stainless steel wire mesh is a consumable part and requires special protection.
2. After the strainer has been in operation for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities will settle in the filter element. At this time, the pressure drop will increase and the flow rate will decrease, so the impurities in the filter element need to be removed in time.
3. When cleaning impurities, special attention must be paid to ensuring that the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element does not deform or get damaged. Otherwise, after reinstalling the strainer, the purity of the filtered medium will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments will be damaged.
4. If deformation or damage of the stainless steel wire mesh is found, it must be replaced immediately.
