Vibrating fork level limit switch FTL20-042D, Endress+Hauser (E+H) from Germany
FTL20-042D is an integrated limit detection switch. It is typically used in tank farms, vessels and pipelines, as well as in cleaning and filtration systems and cooling and lubrication tanks, for overfill protection or to prevent pump dry running. FTL20-042D is an ideal alternative to traditional float switches, conductivity sensors, capacitance sensors and optical sensors. Its function can be tested via an externally mounted magnet.
Advantages
·Safe operation, high versatility, adopts tuning fork measurement principle
·Measurement is not affected by conductivity, adhesion, turbulence, fluctuations or bubbles
·Simple and fast commissioning, no calibration required
·No mechanical moving parts, maintenance-free
·Self-monitoring (activity frequency detection of the tuning fork) provides safety function
·Simple cycle function test via test magnet
·Compact design, suitable for narrow spaces
