Fully Automatic Intelligent Ultrasonic Bird Repeller
I. Overview
Bird-preventing spikes were developed to address the long-term bird damage suffered by power transmission towers. They performed well in early bird prevention work for power transmission lines, but as the total length of the power grid increased and birds became more adapted to bird-preventing spikes, their bird-repelling effect gradually failed to meet the needs of the large-scale power grid system. In response to this situation, Telcom has developed a fully automatic intelligent ultrasonic bird repeller. While enhancing the bird-repelling effect, it also prevents birds from developing adaptability. After installation, it greatly reduces the impact of bird activities around power transmission towers.
II. Working Principle
The Telcom fully automatic intelligent ultrasonic bird repeller combines four modes—strong light strobe, ultrasonic waves, MP3 gunshot sounds, and MP3 eagle calls—to repel birds. In addition, it is equipped with a biological detector. Once a bird enters the radar monitoring range, it immediately triggers an alarm, achieving the goal of repelling birds while reducing equipment wear and extending its service life.
III. Technical Parameters

IV. Postscript
Traditional bird-preventing spikes repel birds by using multiple top steel wires or springs to spread out, preventing birds from perching or nesting. This method requires installing multiple sets of bird-preventing spike devices on a single tower to cover it, but birds can still perch in the gaps between each set of devices. Their excrement falling on hardware fittings and line joints will accelerate their aging and may also cause problems such as short circuits. The Telcom fully automatic intelligent ultrasonic bird repeller combines four bird-repelling methods—ultrasonic waves, sound, strong light strobe, etc.—with a wide coverage range. Generally, installing one unit on a tower can achieve a good bird-repelling effect in the surrounding area. Using different bird-repelling methods also ensures that the equipment maintains its bird-repelling effect for a long time after installation, making it less likely for birds to adapt.
V. Product Advantages
The fully automatic intelligent ultrasonic bird repeller is powered by a solar panel and a storage battery. During the day, the solar panel covers the daily power consumption of the bird repeller, and the excess electricity is stored in the storage battery to supply power during consecutive cloudy days.
