400T matte nylon taffeta is an ultra-fine denier fabric, woven from 400 ends of 20D FDY nylon filament in both warp and weft directions. This fabric is mainly used for down jackets and sun protection clothing. It was previously made with 15D yarn, but later improved to 20D to reduce costs
