(1) System Introduction
Soil Moisture Monitoring System can achieve long-term continuous monitoring of soil moisture. Users can flexibly arrange soil moisture sensors according to monitoring needs; they can also arrange sensors at different depths to measure soil moisture in the profile. The Soil Moisture Monitoring System also provides additional expansion capabilities. Corresponding sensors can be added according to monitoring needs to monitor information such as soil temperature, soil electrical conductivity, soil pH value, groundwater level, groundwater quality, air temperature, air humidity, light intensity, wind speed and direction, rainfall, etc., so as to meet the needs of system function upgrading. The monitoring system can comprehensively, scientifically and truly reflect the soil changes in the monitored area, and can provide the soil status of each monitoring point timely and accurately, providing important basic information for disaster reduction and drought resistance, etc.

(3) Functional Features
1) Real-time monitoring of soil moisture, each monitoring point can flexibly perform single-channel measurement or multi-channel profile measurement;
2) When the soil moisture exceeds the preset limit, the alarm information will be reported to the user immediately via GPRS;
3) It can expand monitoring functions such as soil temperature, electrical conductivity, pH value, as well as groundwater parameters, meteorological parameters, etc.;
4) The data collection and storage frequency can be flexibly adjusted, and the working parameters of the monitoring equipment can be set remotely;
5) It has the functions of statistics and analysis of monitoring data and alarm data, and the data reports can be exported and printed;
6) The monitoring system software has GIS function, which can display the detailed distribution location of each monitoring point on the map.
