(1) System Introduction
The water flow monitoring system is used to measure the flow velocity, flow rate and water level in natural waters. It consists of three parts: a radar current meter, a radar water level gauge and a host.

(3) Functional Features
1) Non-contact measurement: since it does not come into contact with water, the maintenance workload after installation is very small;
2) It can measure a flow velocity of up to 15 meters per second, which is higher than the measurable flow velocity of mechanical current meters, rotor current meters and ultrasonic Doppler current meters;
3) It can measure the flow rate of irregular cross-section rivers, as long as 2 to 20 water depth points are measured manually in advance;
4) Installation is less affected by terrain; measurement can be carried out as long as a bracket is properly set up;
5) It has lower requirements for the stability of water flow than ultrasonic Doppler current meters, mechanical flowmeters and rotor current meters.
