The rapping hammers for cathodes (anodes) produced by Xiangye are core execution components of the electrostatic precipitator (ESP) rapping ash removal system, corresponding to the ash removal requirements of the cathode system (electrode wires) and anode system (plates) respectively. Through periodic mechanical rapping, they shake off the dust adsorbed on the electrode surfaces into the ash hopper, directly affecting the dust removal efficiency and operational stability of the precipitator.

 I. Core Differences and Compatibility of Cathode (Anode) Rapping Hammers The cathode system (electrode wires) and anode system (plates) have significant differences in structure, material and stress characteristics, so the cathode and anode rapping hammers need to be designed with targeted adaptation. The core differences are shown in the following table: Comparison Dimension | Cathode Rapping Hammer | Anode Rapping Hammer --- | --- | --- Compatible Electrodes | Cathode electrode wires (such as thorn wires, fishbone wires, spiral wires, etc.) | Anode plates (such as plate type, C-type plates, Z-type plates, etc.) Core Function | Remove dust adsorbed on the surface of electrode wires, avoiding "nodulation" of electrode wires which leads to reduced discharge performance | Remove the dust layer on the surface of plates, preventing dust accumulation from affecting dust collection efficiency Rapping Force | Moderate to small force (the diameter of electrode wires is thin and rigidity is weak, to avoid fracture caused by excessive rapping) | Large force (the area of plates is large and rigidity is strong, sufficient force is required to shake off dust) Structural Features | The hammer body is light in weight, and the hammer head is mostly designed with arc or blunt head, reducing impact damage to electrode wires | The hammer body is heavy in weight, and the hammer head is mostly designed with flat or wedge shape, increasing the contact area with plates Common Materials | 45# steel (quenched and tempered, balancing strength and toughness) | Q235B or 45# steel (integrally cast or forged, improving wear resistance)

II. Structural Composition of Cathode (Anode) Rapping Hammers Although the rapping forces of cathode and anode rapping hammers are different, their basic structures are consistent. Both are composed of "rapping hammer assembly" and "transmission matching components" to ensure stable transmission of rapping force:

Core Components 1. Hammer Head: The component that directly contacts the electrodes (electrode wires/plates). Its shape and mass determine the magnitude and transmission efficiency of rapping force. ◦ Cathode Hammer Head: Mostly circular or elliptical, with smooth contact surface to avoid scratching electrode wires; the mass is usually 0.5-2kg. ◦ Anode Hammer Head: Mostly rectangular or trapezoidal, with flat or slightly inclined contact surface to ensure close fit with plates; the mass is usually 2-5kg. 2. Hammer Shank: The intermediate component connecting the hammer head and the rapping shaft, acting as a force arm. Its length is designed according to the rapping radius (usually 200-500mm), and the material is consistent with that of the hammer head. Some are formed by welding or integral forging. 3. Shaft Sleeve (Keyway): The connection part between the end of the hammer shank and the rapping shaft. It is fixed by key connection or set screw, ensuring that the hammer body moves synchronously with the rotation of the rapping shaft without relative sliding.
