How to choose a suitable gasification plate (gasification tank)
When selecting an aeration panel or aeration chute suitable for a specific pneumatic conveying system, multiple factors such as material characteristics, system parameters, and equipment installation need to be comprehensively considered. Below are the specific selection methods:
• Consider material characteristics ◦ Material particle size: For powdery materials with small particle sizes and easy fluidization, such as cement raw meal and fly ash, aeration panels or aeration chutes with good air permeability can be selected. If the material has a large particle size or irregular particle shape, higher air permeability and larger pore size may be required to ensure that the material can be fully fluidized.

• Consider system parameters ◦ Conveying capacity: Select the appropriate specification of aeration panel or aeration chute according to the conveying capacity requirements of the pneumatic conveying system. Generally, the larger the conveying capacity, the more the area or number of aeration panels or aeration chutes required. For example, for systems with large conveying capacity, multiple aeration panels can be combined, or aeration chutes with larger width can be selected. ◦ Working pressure: Understand the working pressure of the system to ensure that the selected aeration panel or aeration chute can withstand this pressure. The design pressure of aeration panels and aeration chutes should be higher than the working pressure of the system to ensure the safety and stability of the equipment. ◦ Compressed air flow: Compressed air flow is one of the important factors affecting the fluidization effect of materials. It is necessary to calculate the required compressed air flow according to the characteristics of the material and the conveying capacity, and select an aeration panel or aeration chute that can provide sufficient air flow.
• Consider installation location and space ◦ Installation location: If the aeration panel or aeration chute is installed at the bottom of the ash silo, the shape and size of the ash silo, as well as the position and number of discharge openings need to be considered. For flat-bottom ash silos, aeration chutes can be evenly arranged; for cone-bottom ash silos, aeration panels can be installed at the cone bottom. ◦ Space limitation: If the installation space of the pneumatic conveying system is limited, aeration panels or aeration chutes with compact structure and small space occupation need to be selected. For example, small aeration panels or aeration chutes with embedded installation can be chosen.

• Consider equipment material and quality ◦ Material: The material of the aeration panel should have good air permeability, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Common materials for aeration panels include silicon carbide and stainless steel. Silicon carbide aeration panels have high strength and wear resistance, and are suitable for the conveying of most powdery materials; stainless steel aeration panels have better corrosion resistance, and are suitable for conveying corrosive materials. ◦ Quality: Select aeration panels or aeration chutes with reliable quality, which can be considered from aspects such as the manufacturing process of the equipment and brand reputation. High-quality aeration panels or aeration chutes should have good sealing performance, uniform air permeability and long service life.
