The YJ-8143C Fully Automatic Shellac Softening Point Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the standard GB/T 8143 "Methods for Inspection of Shellac Products" for the determination of softening point, and is applicable to determining the softening point of shellac by the method specified in the standard. Shellac is a mixture of polyhydroxycarboxylic acids, and the measured softening point is only the average softening point of the mixture.
I. Main Technical Features
This instrument adopts technologies such as computer intelligent control, automatic laser detection, liquid crystal touch screen human-machine interface, and lead screw stepper motor lifting. It features linear temperature rise, uniform bath solution stirring, and automatic completion of sample detection. It is a shellac softening point tester with high automation, fast and convenient testing, and accurate and reliable test results.
Test procedure: Place the two rings filled and compacted with samples into the sleeve holes of the ring frame of the softening point tester respectively, and place the ring frame in a beaker filled with newly boiled and cooled water. Make the water temperature rise evenly. After starting heating for 3 minutes, keep the water temperature rising at 5℃±0.5℃ per minute. The sample softens gradually, and the result is recorded automatically.
