This instrument is developed in accordance with the requirements of the clarity tester device in the standard GB/T 18712-2002 "Test Method for Performance of Flocculants for Coal Preparation". For coal slurry in coal preparation plants, the performance of flocculants is reflected in differences in sedimentation speed, supernatant clarity, and sediment volume. Flocculant solution is added to a measuring cylinder containing coal slurry, mixed, and an interface is formed between the supernatant and flocs. The free sedimentation speed (or initial sedimentation speed), supernatant clarity, and sediment volume are measured to characterize the performance of the flocculant.
I. Main Features of the YJH-18712 Supernatant Clarity Tester
1. The traditional timing dial is removed, replaced by an integrated chip control and full-touch keys, making operation simple and convenient, and the service life of the instrument is tripled.
2. Users can calibrate the instrument's illuminance by themselves using a standard illuminance meter, which adds a self-calibration function.
3. The length of the bottom whiteboard is increased, enabling side-by-side detection of supernatants.
4. The detection lamp is upgraded to an Aji precision lamp, with a service life twice that of traditional lamps.
5. A voltage stabilization control circuit is added, the detection optical path system eliminates stroboscopic flash, the illuminance is adjustable, improving visual resolution and reducing eye fatigue.
6. A digital electronic illuminance meter is adopted, with intuitive and stable readings. The detection time can be set arbitrarily, and it has an audible and visual alarm function.
7. The instrument's light source illuminance index, black background, and detection whiteboard all meet the standards.
8. The optical path system composed of dedicated tri-color fluorescent lamps, electronic ballasts, and light-shielding devices eliminates stroboscopic flash, improves visual inspection resolution, and reduces eye fatigue.
9. The illuminance is adjustable, and the digital electronic illuminance meter provides intuitive and reliable readings.
10. The instrument has a reasonable design, stable performance, simple operation, and beautiful appearance.
11. Black numbers are engraved on the inner wall of the test container.

III. Usage Method of the YJH-18712 Supernatant Clarity Tester
Pour the supernatant into the clarity tester using the decantation method, and read the maximum clear value of the clarity tester from the front. The clarity is characterized by this value; the larger the value, the better the clarity.
