The YJ-0983E Automatic Drug Cone Penetration Tester (with one cone) is an automatic intelligent instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations specified in the "0983 Cone Penetration Test Method" of the 2020 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China and the GB 1790-2003 "Medical Vaseline" standard. It is mainly applicable to semi-solid substances such as ointments, eye ointments and their commonly used matrix materials (such as vaseline, lanolin, beeswax), to control their properties such as softness, hardness and viscosity, and to avoid affecting the coating and ductility of the drug. The drug cone penetration refers to the depth that a cone of a certain mass penetrates into the test sample within 5 seconds after being released downward by the cone penetration tester at 25℃ using free fall motion.

I. Main Functional Features

1. The instrument is mainly composed of parts such as the chassis bracket, touch display, screw lifting system, constant temperature control system, cone rod assembly, and displacement measurement system.

2. Adopting computer control technology, it automatically completes the cone penetration test and automatically displays the test results after the experiment is completed.

3. It adopts a touch screen human-machine interface, with intuitive display, rich content and convenient operation.

4. It has an automatic lifting structure, with smooth lifting and accurate positioning. It uses a knob encoder switch and a lifting button switch, and drives the screw slider through a stepper motor to achieve high-precision adjustment of rapid lifting inching.

5. This instrument has an integrated constant temperature water bath inside, with constant temperature control functions of refrigeration and heating. It adopts semiconductor refrigeration technology and PID control algorithm, with a temperature control accuracy of up to ±0.1℃, meeting the temperature requirements of national standards.

6. The designed cold light source cone lighting technology makes cone alignment convenient and accurate. The cone rod assembly mechanism has high precision, is easy to disassemble, and strictly meets the requirements of national standards.

7. The system can store 200 sets of data, which can be viewed directly on the touch screen or exported via U disk data transfer. At the same time, the system has a built-in 485 interface (MODBUS protocol), which enables real-time network connection of data.

8. The self-developed computer control software can realize communication with the computer and complete the cone penetration test.

9. The main unit of this instrument is equipped with one cone as standard, and Cone No. I, Cone No. II, Cone No. III and sample cups are optional, and a micro printer is also optional.
