The "Disintegration Time Limit Inspection Method (Draft for Comment)" in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia has added an inspection method for orally disintegrating tablets.
I. Performance Features:
1. Adopts a single-cup, single-basket structure; each instrument is equipped with one disintegration basket, which is convenient for observation and judgment.
2. Uses a special dedicated cup instead of a flat-bottomed beaker, facilitating position fixation.
II. Technical Indicators:
1. The orally disintegrating tablet disintegration basket (hereinafter referred to as the disintegration basket) complies with the pharmacopoeia requirements, and the basket is made of stainless steel tubes.
2. Tube length: 30mm, inner diameter: 13mm, sieve hole inner diameter: 710µm
3. Disintegration basket reciprocating frequency: 30 times/min
5. Water bath temperature control range: (room temperature) ~45℃
6. Temperature control accuracy: <±0.3℃
7. Timing preset range: 1min～900min
8. Time control accuracy: ±0.5min
